About Sports Medicine
Sports Medicine is a program designed to teach students entrance levels skills in various health fields with emphasis in
Sports Medicine and Exercise Science. Along with basic anatomy and physiology, the students are taught skills in assessing vital signs,
responding to first aid emergencies, and athletic injury management. Students receive instruction through classroom and
hands-on clinical experiences in fitness evaluation and nutrition during the second year of the program.
